Ideas for new functions to help keep the Power BI tenant organized, tidy, secure, compliant with standards and regulations, etc.

  • Find and remove redundant permissions
  • Find and archive inactive/abandoned assets (will require access to full audit log history, e.g. pbimonitor or something similar)
  • Find and remove ex-employees
  • Find and document single points of failure (e.g. workspaces, capacities, gateways, etc., to which only a single employee has access)
  • Find and document/repair broken data connections
  • Find and document/designate assets with no designated contact/steward
  • Find and apply sensitivity labels to assets containing sensitive data
  • Find and rename reports with "dashboard" in title 😈
