Which new backend would you like to see in Ibis?

Feldera is a new streaming database with an incremental compute engine. It would be awesome to have an Ibis backend similar to RisingWave

Thanks for the issue! I was at a talk awhile ago given by one of the co-founders of Feldera, super interesting!

Would love to help you get started with a PR!

It looks like Feldera has a containerized setup that we can probably use for testing in CI. Beyond that, if you want to submit a draft PR with the initial version and then we can work together to get it merged, you can take a look at one of the other backends for inspiration. I'll suggest DuckDB, Postgres, or Trino as solid starting points.

Let us know if you need any assistance!

That's rad. I wouldn't mind checking out that talk if you've got a video link?

I'll try and get started on a backend over the holidays. Thanks for the starting points.
