first, thank you Phil!
I made this software that has a web interface.
I'm recently introducing a new keyboard navigation, which is not compatible with vimium.
Being specific for the application, it does what vimium cannot do, so I just disabled vimium on my installation.
Question: is there an API that I (a web page, not an extension) can access to disable vimium automatically, limitedly to my web app?
I would offer an option in my UI to switch between vimium and my specific navigation, as they should be mutually exclusive to give a consistent user experience.
Also, being aware of the context, I could decide to automatically reenable vimium in some parts of the app.
Mine would become a vimium-aware web application, and I would be very glad of that.
