we realised that nobody has made a list of all the sustainable open source technology that is out there. That's why we have been creating this list over the last few months and have now published it: https://github.com/protontypes/awesome-sustainable-technology
We consider the use and further development of open technology in this area to be a key issue in the fight against climate change. That is why I would like to add this to your list, but I don't know where exactly this fits in. What do you think? Does this fit on the awesome earth list?

Hi there,
Actually I'd like to bounce back on @Ly0n 's issue raising and adding another resource to that discussion : https://oss4climate.pierrevf.consulting/ (it's a 100% open source search engine for open-source code to help tackling climate-related problems).
I personally believe that such listings and open-source fits well in the list as more and more volunteering starts to include software aspects these days (and building on top of open source can really help them going faster and further).
2 proposal in terms of where to place this:
a new "Software" section
the "Other services" section, if you don't want to extend with a new section at this stage
Hey Awesome Earth team,
we realised that nobody has made a list of all the sustainable open source technology that is out there. That's why we have been creating this list over the last few months and have now published it:
https://github.com/protontypes/awesome-sustainable-technology
Now I would like to call for the further development of projects in this list and to use it to speed up and distribute the know-how on the fight against climate change. More about this also in our blog post:
