Search does not clear itself when clicking the X button

In the search bar, after searching, I clicked X and wish to clear the keywords but it doesn't work. The remaining keyboard enable filter when switching notebook. Have to manually delete keywords on search bar in order to show all notes in the notebook. Sometimes it's confusing as I may not aware of the search bar still containing keywords after clicking the X or ending the search behavior.
