Unreachable device modal contains only targets iOS devices and contains a dead link #1138
Comments
@bluec0re thanks for the report! This is a bug, this version of the dialog should only be shown for iOS devices (obviously)! 🙂 |
Hmm, actually I cannot reproduce this. Do you use Play Services or Threema Push? Do you have some steps to reproduce this? |
Play Services and no. IIRC it occurred after waking my desktop up from sleep. But can't say for sure. |
Can you send us the log of the web client after it happens? That might help. If you don't want to post it here, you can send it to *SUPPORT and mention this GH issue. |
When you put your mobile device into airplane mode and open a conversation, does the iOS-dialog appear as well? |
@bluec0re did this issue occur again, or not anymore? When you put your mobile device into airplane mode and open a conversation, does the iOS-dialog appear as well? |
It happened again once yesterday when trying to reproduce. But wasn't able to do it again so far. I thought it was related to switching from VPN (on device) to same WiFi (direct WebRTC connection). But couldn't confirm 😞 Airplane mode etc. Did not brought it up. |
Bug Description
The modal for an unreachable device only mentions iOS (I'm on Android). Also the context link (https://threema.ch/faq/web_ios_foreground) is dead.
