--extra-experimental-features nix-command --extra-experimental-features flakes can be condensed to --extra-experimental-features "nix-command flakes"

I think those extra changes are from VS Code or Git replacing CRLF with LF.

I think those extra changes are from VS Code or Git replacing CRLF with LF.

Could also be something changing indentation on empty lines. Either way, it would be great if you could remove those changes. I'm out at the moment so I can't check these git commands, but I think it's doable with either a combo of git reset and git restore or git show/git revert and git commit --amend
